The Old School Hall
The Hall, originally a Church of England primary school, has been modernised to provide an adaptable and comfortable facility, which is ideal for parties, meetings, christenings and events which require more compact accommodation than a village hall.
Inside there is a meeting room with good lighting and heating, which leads through to a smaller room overlooking fields. It has a kitchen complete with range cooker, toilets, ample car parking, projection facilities and a garden. The maximum capacity of the Hall is about 80 people.
Located in a beautiful rural location on the edge of Hurst Green village, The Old School Hall is easily accessible from Whalley, Clitheroe, Ribchester and Preston.
The Hall is close to Stonyhurst College and the beautiful surroundings of the Ribble Valley.
Hire cost and conditions
Cost per session is as follows:
- 1 hour £15.00
- 2 hours £30.00
- 1/2 day (4 hours) £40.00
A deposit of £25.00 will be required when booking, payable by cheque to ‘St Johns Old School Charity’ The deposit will be additional to the above fees and will be returned only if the hall is left clean, tidy and undamaged, otherwise it will be retained to offset the cleaning costs.
The fee is to be paid in full one week before the event.
